Remember how I remind some people of the Progressive Girl?
On Saturday I heard another one: CNBC's Erin Burnett.

I didn't know who she was, but when I checked it out -- wow, thanks. Younger, thinner, potentially smarter. Good job. Great hair. She's a bit more -ahem-expressive than your average financial news commentator. I'm pretty sure that is what prompted the comparison. And from what I gather the supposed lad mag cover is a fake... so that's a relief.
Because ewww.
There are many women I admire and would like to resemble more closely. None of them are famous.

Be flattered - I've never been told I remind anyone of anyone. Famous or not.
My latest attempt at new hair makes me look like the progressive girl, but not in a good way. It is distressing.
I am indebted to you for this picture because I was trying to explain to Pdad what I thought was wrong with my hair and he couldn't figure out who I was talking about. This will help. Sharon knows!
P.S. Your word verification is giving me fits!
Yes... Progressive girl's hair is a bit kooky and not something I would aspire to. Although when I mentioned the comparison to a man I know his reaction -- strangely-- was to ask if my hair "could do that." Still not sure what that means.
Of course if you like the hair that "bumpit" gadget from informercials could give you the look.
