I'll Be There For You... Or Not

So I decided to venture onto Facebook... and I don't really know what I am doing. And I think I'm supposed to post a ton of pictures -- that's why it is called FACEbook, right? But I am not sure how I feel about putting a bunch of photos out there.

And I am not sure about all this "friending" business. My bro Ben has very strict rules about facebook friends (if you're not a friend of his in real life, fuggedabowtit -- and note that I have never actually seen The Sopranos but just referenced it so it is now officially moldy) and I am rather inclined to agree with Ben.

Except that I am open to friends from the past. What to do with people you are or were friendly with, but who're not actually friends? I'm thinking no. But maybe yes.

I see this as more of a quandary for a girl...

I read an article in the Dallas morning news that said the pictures you post become facebooks properity. Even if you end up deleting them. I'm not one to post a lot of pics on there.

I figure since I am a friend from the past you don't have to let me be your friend on facebook, but just know that I will continue to stalk your blog for one reason - hillarious!

Once you accept one person from your past, it's all over. Before you know it the six degrees of creepy high school will be all up in your face...book.

There are reasons that I have strict rules Sharon. You too can learn from BBB (Baby Brother Ben).

FYI: Facebook issued a public statement that they do not, and will never own your photos. If you send anything to a friend, via message, it is then the property of that person.
